about my other blog

In my mid-forties, I married a guy whose dream was to live in the country.
We found a site outside of town, but close to everything, and with enough
room for the grandkids to roam.  We built a house and moved Hubby's
folks in with us. We started collecting animals and raising our own food.

With two families under one roof, a field full of grandkids, cats, a dog, horses,
goats, chickens, and once even a llama, I found plenty to write about.

In December of 2016, we sold our farm and began living full-time in our RV in Florida.
(Sounds like a great time to also work on my book!)

We bought a piece of property in a 55+ community on the banks of the St Johns River.
We moved into our new home in June of 2017.
Our dreams turned to traveling the U.S. in our RV . . .
Until my dad's cancer began to take it's toll.
We finally decided to sell the truck and 5th wheel,
and put our traveling on hold until we're no longer needed here.

A Life On--and After--the Farm is about my daily life on a hobby farm
and the new adventures awaiting us in our new home state.
