fun in research...

I wouldn't want to write this book without the internet. When I mention places in my novel, I research the area. I study maps to choose the routes; I locate restaurants in which my characters will dine. Now I have to drive to Covington, KY to eat at Chez Nora! It sounds delicious and the sisters in my book loved it! But they warned me to get there early...

My husband and I were just talking about this. How did we ever get anything done before the internet?
Have a great day,

HI Lily, thanks for reading and "amening" my POWER OUTAGE post. I have enjoyed reading many of your posts.
Like you, I am also an aspiring writer.
Unlike you, I am not nearly as far along as you are...
I just finished a good novel: Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen. I wanted you to read the conversation with the author at the back. I think it has some good tips for writers. Maybe you could hang out at your local bookstore, reading this section (at the back of the book) and THEN decide if you would like to read the novel.
Meantime, HAPPY WRITING!
