My Favorite Gifts

I got them!  The books I wanted...

Both my daughter and my DIL actually asked me what I wanted!  I gave them book titles.  I can't wait to get deep into these titles.  They're exactly what I asked for.... but still, they're not my favorite gift.

It's hard to top this...

So if I never become the best-selling author I dream of being, I have achieved greater success already!

What are some of your favorite Christmas gifts?

We have the Stephen King book On Writing and hubby has read it a few times and I have read it twice. Lots of info in it. Great book.

Lily, You're right. Being a Grandma is the best gift of all. But I know someday you'll be the best Grandma that became an author.

Great choices, Lily! You will enjoy those books. I've read a couple of them.

My favorite gift this year was one that I paid for - we flew our older son here from Michigan to spend Christmas with us. He's the only one who didn't make the move to Texas, so I miss him. One of these times I'll hide his luggage so he'll have to stay. hah.

So true, Lily. Nothing beats being a grandma. The best gift I got this Christmas was being snowed in with the kids and grandkids. It was heaven sent!

Lily -

Woohoo! Neat books. Two of the four are on my Wish List. Of course, nothing can top, "World's Best Grandma."

I got Tamara Leigh's 3-in-1 volume of the Fountain Creek Chronicles, a couple of outfits, and some money. I'm pondering on what to get with the funds - either an external hard drive or a digital camera. I think I need the former more.

Have a blessed New Year!

Susan :)

Cool reading materials, you have a lot of fun studying to do. The World's Best Grandma is so cute. My best Christmas gift was some quiet time with my hubby.

I have those books, all but Get Published. You'll have to let me know how that one is.
